‘Benso’ Born Benson Katani first male born, with two young sisters. Did his primary education at Our Lady of Mercy primary. Commenced his high school education at the Aga Khan High School. He has a Bachelors degree in commerce (Finance option) from the catholic University of Eastern Africa.
His artistic work as a rapper has been influenced by the likes of Jay Z, 2-pac, Notorios Big, Talib Kweli, Common, Babyface, Tony Braxton, Mc Lyte, R Kelly, Barry White, Lionel Richie and Maxi Priest.
He became interested in music at a tender age, from competing in street jams, Magazine competetion like the insyder pure oxygen jam. Benso used to actively participate in rap battles in the then growing Music industry. He took a break from the music Scene to complete his Studies.
He is currently learning Music Production, Music mixing and Sound engeneering.
