Wale – The Girls On Drugs (Official Video)

Wale tells a cautionary tale in the Dre Films-directed video for his Janet Jackson-sampled single “The Girls on Drugs” off his No. 1 album The Album About Nothing. Three ladies start off at the gym before heading back to their apartment for some drinking and smoking. Their wild day leads to the club where one of them runs into Wale, who takes her back to the hotel. But he notices something is not right when she heads to the bathroom to throw up.

“What’s really wrong with you?” he asks. “What I see right now, I see a little girl, scared, sad, confused, don’t know what to do, that live for Instagram likes and H&M sales.”

She gets emotional and ends up leaving Wale alone, still in search of a real woman to take out.

Watch the drama unfold.

Wale!!! Star to drop 4th album, March 31

Wale’s forthcoming album, The Album About Nothing, (TAAN) is scheduled to be released on March 31.
The Maybach Music Group rapper originally made the announcement via Twitter in December, shortly after releasing his collaborative mixtape with A-Trak, ‘Festivus’.
TAAN will serve as Wale’s fourth album overall and third underneath the MMG imprint. His label boss, Rick Ross, confirmed during an interview with Billboard at the Grammy Awards that the project should arrive on schedule (March 31).
‘The Body’ featuring Jeremih, is the only single from the album that has been released thus far.
